Our client, a leading civil engineering and infrastructure specialist, is hiring for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer. The successful candidate will play a key role in the full cycle of design projects and be vital in driving new concepts and systems to drive quality and efficiency across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with clients to establish new requirements and assist in the development of new electrical standards for the client and the organisation
• Report into the Senior Electrical Managers
• Cover the Concept, specification, tender and development of new projects
• Undertake complex calculations using Amtech Pro-Design and use CAD systems to design and specify projects 
• Investigate and undertake analysis on how to improve existing assets

Person Specification:

• Subject-specific technical knowledge and experience with Auto CAD, Amtech Pro-design and Design experience.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering (HNC)
• Attention to detail
• Methodical approach to work
• Electrical CSCS Gold Card (Desirable)
